Meet Jasmine; owner and sole employee of Imagine Day Spa

I’m a Northern Alberta girl and I moved to Red Deer in 2006. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do when I got here, I just knew I wanted to help people, but wasn’t sure in what way. I would constantly (and still do) want to help people feel healthy, happy and beautiful.  And I have always been drawn to and intrigued by holistic practices and the beauty industry.  My #bossbabe mom was a hairstylist who owned her own salon during my childhood, so I have always been exposed to the industry, and love it!

To try to keep my story short, I was drawn to Massage Therapy after receiving my first massage and knowing the benefits of it for people on the inside, I wanted people to feel better on the outside too!

I jumped in head first and received my certificate as a Registered Massage Therapist from the Alberta Institute of Massage in March 2007.  From there, I received certification as a

*Spa Therapist

*Hot Stone Therapist

*Reflexologist

*Prenatal Massage

*Sports Therapy

I have been a recognized member of The National Holistic Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) since 2006.  Due to old injuries acting up, unfortunately I am no longer able to offer massage anymore.  It was a tough decision for me and it's unfortunate that I can no longer help people through massage therapy but I love that I still get to see my clients for their esthetic appointments!

I am certified in

*Standard First Aid- Level C CPR & AED

*WHIMIS and

*Bloodborne Pathogens

In 2010 I became a certified

*Body Sugar Practitioner, specializing in Bikini/Brazilian Body Sugaring

*Practitioner in Brow & Lash Tinting

*Lash Lifting and

*Airbrush Tanning Practitioner

In July 2017, I locked arms with Beautycounter, a safer skincare and cosmetics company and I am now a Director with a team of 20 beautiful, strong and amazing women!  I was drawn to this company because of their mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone and their amazing work to lobby the government to have better health protective laws in place.

And the cherry on top - the products are high performing!  I'm so pleased to be able to offer my clients, friends and family amazing products that work and are better for our health.  If you're wanting to know more about what sets Beautycounter apart from other companies, check out: https://www.beautycounter.com/en-ca/our-story

In March 2019, I received Certification in Henna Brows

and I am currently working towards certification in Microblading, Mircoshading, Machine Shading, Hybrid & Ombre Brows. This is an exciting new field for me and I've had a ton of demand for me to start offering this session = you asked, I listened!!

In March 2020, I became certified in Brow Lamination, and I hope to continue learning new things in the field of esthetics in the most safe and natural ways possible.

I have owned my own business since 2008 and I am AHS (Alberta Health Services) inspected and I obtain a valid City of Red Deer business license.

I am SO THANKFUL for the support of my husband, family, friends and of course, all my wonderful clients for their patience, support and patronage in helping me grow.

I am very honored and privileged to work in the beauty, health and healing industry and I hope to do so for a very long time.

I genuinely feel there is beauty in everyone, and I strive to help you FEEL as beautiful as you are.

Now you know a bit more about me and I hope I get the chance to meet you and help you to look AND feel your best!
